VOCAL QUARTET

The ensemble performs Renaissance, Baroque and contemporary music, records thematically diverse programs, gives concerts in excellent halls and participates in national and international music festivals.


TRIPTYCH

PROGRAMME

TRIPTYCH brings together three thematically related expressions into a sensory and aesthetic whole. The first part - MOMENT - refers to a fundamental existential question, with answers found in the expressionist poetry of Srečko Kosovel and Tone Kuntner. In the second part, we touch upon the symbol of the mother - MOTHER - establishing a special relationship with Holy Mary. The third part - FATHERLAND - is dedicated to the reverence for the homeland and tradition. The texts are musically arranged by Vinko Vodopivec, Samo Vremšak, Vilko Ukmar, Hugolin Sattner, Franc Schubert, Arvo Pärt, Vytautas Miškinis, Emil Adamič, France Cigan and Marij Kogoj.

ABOUT US

Elinor Quartet represents significant cultural gain of ancient region, focuses on achieving quality vocal production, based on individual education and upbringing of singers. The ensemble strives to achieve the level of singing that enables recording of thematically diverse programmes, concert performances in excellent halls and participation in national as well as international music festivals. The artistic director of the ensemble is Robert Feguš.

PROGRAMME

Music poetry written by Srečko Kosovel, Josip Murn, Anton Medved, Tone Kuntner and Anton Martin Slomšek. The poetic speech was musically equipped by slovenian composers Marij Kogoj, Vilko Ukmar, Samo Vremšak, Alojz Srebotnjak, Anton Lajovic and Luka Gojkošek.
